Pickett’s Vanilla Ice Cream

Recipe Details

Ingredients:
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 T vanilla (Mexican is best)
  • ½ t salt
  • 4 cups cream (half and half or heavy whipping cream)
  • 2% or whole milk to fill line of freezer
  • Ice
  • rock salt

Beat eggs. Add sugar, vanilla and salt. Mix. Add cream. Refrigerate until freezing. Add enough milk to reach the fill line of freezer.

 

Follow instructions on your freezer.

 

Add fruit, candy or cookie crumbs the last 5 to 10 minutes of freezing for variations.
