Ingredients:
- 1 loaf challah egg bread (from Albertsons) or Hawaiian bread torn into pieces
- 12 eggs
- 1 ½ cups whole milk
- 1 ½ t vanilla
- cinnamon
- 1 heaping t butterscotch pudding mix (dry)
- 1 C brown sugar
- ½ C melted butter
- 2 T maple syrup

- 1 ½ t vanilla
- cinnamon
- 1 heaping t butterscotch pudding mix (dry)
- 1 C brown sugar
- ½ C melted butter
- 2 T maple syrup
Grease 9×13 pan.
- Place torn bread in pan.
- Mix milk, vanilla and eggs in a separate bowl. Pour over bread.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and pudding on top.
- Mix melted butter, syrup and brown sugar. Pour over top of egg mixture.
- Let soak overnight, covered.
- Uncover and bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
- Serve with butter and warm syrup.
