Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter
- 3 T flour
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 pint of heavy cream
- 1 cup fresh parmesan cheese
- 2 T cream cheese
- ¼ t salt
- ½ t white pepper
In a sauce pan over medium heat – melt butter and add garlic (I like a little more than one clove). Cook and stir for about 2 minutes. Add flour and whisk into a roux. Slowly add heavy cream while stirring. Add cream cheese and heat until bubbling, but do not boil.
Add Parmesan Cheese and mix until the cheese melts. Add salt and pepper.
