Mrs. Field’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recipe Details

Cook Time: 6 Minutes
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 5 cups regular oatmeal
  • Blended oat flour
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 24 oz bag of chocolate chips
  • one 8 oz Hershey bar (finely grated)
  • 3 cups chopped nuts (optional, any kind)

 

Cream together:

2 cups butter

2 cups sugar

2 cups brown sugar

 

Then add:

4 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

Mix together

 

Slowly blend into oat flour:

5 cups regular oatmeal

 

Then add to cream mixture:

Blended oat flour

4 cups flour

1 tsp salt

2 tsp baking powder

2 tsp baking soda

 

Add a 24 oz bag of chocolate chips, one 8 oz Hershey bar (finely grated), and 3 cups chopped nuts (optional, any kind). Bake on ungreased cookie sheet. Golf ball size. 2” apart. Bake at 375° for 6 mins.
