Cream Corn Like No Other

Recipe Details

Yield: 8 Servings
Ingredients:
  • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen corn kernels, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk (I use heavy cream sometimes to make it extra yummy)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (I always use at least twice this much)

Make a roux of the butter and flour. Slowly add milk while you stir. When it thickens add sugar, salt and pepper and Parmesan cheese.
